CS Duffy is an author, screenwriter, producer, former casting director, and occasional yoga teacher who once worked in an oil refinery in Ohio. She has worked in casting and production in London, Vancouver and Stockholm where she directed two hit web series and worked on various projects for Swedish television.

After writing a blog as one of her film characters as a fun writing exercise which became a hit crime thriller (and accidentally catfished Stockholm’s ex pat community!) she became a Scottish crime bestseller, then started writing romantasy and steamy women’s fiction in lockdown. She is the author of the bestselling Dark of Night series which was featured in Bloody Scotland’s Crime in the Spotlight, the Stockholm Murders series, The Shadow City series and the Chances Are series. She was selected for The Writers Lab 2022 with Mari, her The Sopranos meets The Steamie period drama series.

When she’s not dreaming up twists, she can be found terrifying circus teachers by attempting poses she’s not remotely physically capable of, and chatting the ear off patients as a volunteer in her local A&E. After a lifetime of detesting flying, she swore off it a few years ago, and loves nothing better than writing her way across Europe and the Atlantic by train and ship!
